Two Macs, two cats, one bond
Your partner’s Mochi visits your Dock, and yours visits theirs. Even when you’re apart, the cats play side by side.

Pairing is easy
No accounts, emails or phone numbers. Just an eight-character code.
Create a code
In Settings, open the PARTNER CAT card and press CREATE CODE. A code like V46Y-3JF4 appears.
Send it to your partner
Press COPY and send the code to your partner in any message.
They enter it
They choose ENTER CODE in their app, type it and press JOIN. You’re paired!
What is shared?
- Your cat’s name
- Its color and accessory
- What it’s doing (sleeping, eating, walking…)
- When you were last online
Nothing else is shared. Your screen, apps and files are never sent.
How it works behind the scenes
Pairing uses Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit). We run no servers of our own and we don’t see your data. Both people need to be signed in to iCloud.
- Both Macs need internet and an iCloud account
- Updates sync about every 20 seconds
- When you unlink, your record is deleted
- A code can pair with only one person
Note If your partner unlinks, the app tells you. You can pair again by creating a new code.
Having trouble?
It says I must sign in to iCloud
Sign in under System Settings › Apple ID › iCloud and try again.
It says the code wasn’t found
Ask the creator to keep the app open, check the 8 characters (the dash doesn’t matter) and try again in a few seconds.
“This code is already linked”
Each code is for two people only. Ask your partner to create a new one.
I can’t see my partner’s cat
Your partner has to be online (app open, internet on). Offline, the cat stays away; once online it walks right in.
